Simpsons Motor Caravan Centre is based in East Anglia and sells motorhomes and motorhome accessories UK wide.
They have been supplying motorhomes since 1962 and are the main dealers for manufacturers such as Auto-Trail, Auto-sleepers, Swift, La Strada, Elddis, Roller Team, Autocruise and Trigano.
The Brief
Increase traffic to the website to generate leads for motor homes and sale for motor home accessories via paid search.
The Solution
The Simpsons website has an online ordering facility for motorhome accessories but most leads for motor homes are received via the telephone.
A paid search campaign was set up and launched alongside bespoke telephone tracking that was implemented by Affinity i-Marketing to log conversions of telephone calls generated from the website in addition to contact forms and online sales.
The Results
Since the launch the PPC campaign has been driving, on average, 54% of the traffic to the website.
Telephone statistics showed the campaign was performing far better than was apparent from the contact forms and online sales received.
93% of sales leads generated were by telephone which highlighted the importance of implementation of the tracking.
