Search Engine Optimisation
As a longer term strategy it was proposed that all the websites were optimised for the search engines.
When Affinity i-Marketing’s search engine optimisation experts commenced work on the websites it became apparent that the third party engine that powered the websites was not robust/flexible enough to fully support the optimisation work needed.
This resulted in Affinity i-Marketing changing the role from actually carrying out the search engine optimisation to a consulting role, working with the third party on how to develop their engine into a more search engine friendly platform.
Affinity consulted and wrote detailed documentation on behalf of Archant that Archant themselves and the third party used in the following months to improve the 3 websites. Since changes have been made all regional and localised sites have seen impressive improvements in the search engines.
